Texas Continuing Education Requirements:
PT: 30 hrs biennially - Texas Accepts 30 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses
OnlineCE.com courses are provided by the TX Board of PT Examiners Accredited Provider #2509014TX and meets continuing competence requirements for PT licensure renewal in TX. Accreditation Period: 10/1/22-9/30/25.
If you are entering courses from the previous years CE cycle, Accredited Provider numbers are:
#2209014TX: Valid 10/1/2019 - 9/30/22
#1909014TX: Valid from 10/1/16 - 9/30/19
#1607014TX: Valid from 8/1/13 - 9/30/16
Ethics are now included in the JAM (Jurisprudence Assessment Module) issued by the Board as part of license renewal. You may still take ethics courses at OnlineCE.com, however they will be counted as general credits.
Special Requirements:
Human Trafficking for Texas Healthcare Practitioners
Health care practitioners who provide direct patient care must complete an approved human trafficking prevention training course in order to renew their license/ ChiroCredit.com/OnlineCE.com offers a course to meet this requirement that has been approved by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and meets all required HHSC Human Trafficking Training Standard. This training must be completed by the first license renewal starting with September 1, 2020. This requirement is for each renewal period.
This course meets the State TX Human Trafficking requirement.

Continuing Education Requirements for Certified Hand Therapists:
The Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) is the governing body that is responsible for credentialing certified hand therapists (CHT). In order to maintain the CHT credential, a CHT must accumulate a minimum of 80 contact hours of professional development activities during their five-year accrual period. Professional development hours may be earned in seven different categories. OnlineCE.com offers courses in 3 Categories: A, B and C.
Category A - Formal Courses in Upper Extremity Therapy, 3 hours or more in length. All 80 hours can be earned in this category. HTCC Accepts OnlineCE courses.
Category B - Informal Courses in Upper Extremity Therapy, less than 3 hours in length. Maximum accepted: 30 hours per 5-year accrual cycle. HTCC Accepts OnlineCE courses.
Category C - Formal Courses with General Clinical OT or PT content. Maximum accepted: 20 hours per 5-year accrual cycle. HTCC Accepts OnlineCE courses.
