Texas Accepts ChiroCredit.com Online Courses

 

Texas Continuing Education Requirements: 16 hours per year by the first day of your birth month
Texas Accepts 10 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses
Texas Accepts 16 hours of TeleSeminar/Webinar Continuing Education Courses

 

You can meet all your requirements by taking 10 hours of Online Courses and 6 hours of TeleSeminars/Webinars.

 

Courses are facilitated by the University of Bridgeport, Health Sciences Postgraduate Education Department which includes the School of Chiropractic, a CCE accredited College. Scroll down to view Online courses and the TBCE approval codes. 

When logged in, as long as your licenses are entered on your account, each course is clearly identified as being approved or not approved.  Please see our Teleseminar page for TBCE approved Teleseminars.

 

Specific Requirements:

Yearly Mandatory Documentation/Ethics/Risk

Each renewal period, the TBCE requires the following four mandatory hours each renewal:  3 hours of  Documentation/Ethics, and 1 hour Risk Management These will all need to be done live via our Teleseminars. Human Trafficking 

Health care practitioners who provide direct patient care must complete an approved human trafficking prevention training course in order to renew their license. ChiroCredit.com offers a course to meet this requirement that has been approved by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and meets all required HHSC Human Trafficking Training Standard.  This training must be completed by the first license renewal starting with September 1, 2020.  This requirement is for each renewal period.

New Licensee Information: A licensee who is first licensed within the 12 months immediately preceding the annual renewal date is exempt from the continuing education requirement.   8 hours of Medicare Documentation required within a year of the initial licensing date. Reporting Requirements: CE Sponsor Reports to State Board within 30 days.  Please check with your licensing board for licensee reporting requirements.
