Oklahoma Continuing Education Requirements:
PTA: 30 hrs biennially - Oklahoma Accepts 30 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses
Special Requirements:
Requires 3 hrs of ethics that includes the APTA Guide for Professional Conduct and APTA Code of Ethics
Effective February 1, 2022 and every two years thereafter, Physical Therapist Assistants will be required to show proof of thirty (30) approved contact hours and/or PDU equivalent. (1) At least half of the required hours must be professional development coursework.
OCE is an approved provider for the board. Board approval #BAP202310055. Ethics courses require individual approval and are not considered automatically board approved. Approvals are good for the reporting period of February 1, 2024, to January 31, 2026.
