North Dakota Assistant Continuing Education Requirements: 6 hours per 2 years (Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant)
North Dakota Accepts 6 hours of Online Chiropractic Assistant Continuing Education Courses
Proof of completion the continuing education requirement is required to be submitted to the Board with the CCCA’s renewal application on the even number years after initially receiving their certification. The current continuing education cycle (for all CCCA's) is: March 1, 2020 - March 1, 2022.

North Dakota Chiropractic Assistant Initial Training:
Successful completion of the Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant coursework (education) and examination by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB). ChiroCredit.com is an FCLB PACE Provider and offers the course "Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant Course" which makes one eligible to take the FCLB CCCA Exam.

- If an applicant for initial certification, prior to March 1, 2018, has verified employment of 2000-hours as a chiropractic assistant between August 1, 2014 - August 1, 2017, they may qualify for ND certification without meeting the coursework (education) requirement of the FCLB program. However, they must successfully pass the FCLB examination requirement in order to apply for certification in ND. The employer will be required to verify their employment hours via attestation during the examination registration.
- Applicants who are certified in other jurisdictions, may apply for ND certification. The applicant must provide evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant:
- Has current practice privilege in good standing as a Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant or equivalent granted by at least one jurisdiction whose requirements (education & examination) are similar to or greater than the requirements of this board; and
- Has presented to the board current documentation that any practice privilege granted by another jurisdiction as a Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant or equivalent has not been suspended, revoked, or otherwise restricted for any reason except non-renewal.
- Certification is not required for individuals who solely perform administrative activities of a non-clinical nature
