Missouri Accepts 48 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses from ChiroCredit.com that are categorized as Formal

When logged in, as long as your licenses are entered on your account, each course is clearly identified as being approved or not approved.
Special Requirements: 24 Formal Hours in at least two (2) of the following categories:
- Diagnostic imaging (X ray)
- Differential or physical diagnosis or both
- Record keeping and/or Subjective Objective Assessment Plan (SOAP) notes
- Principles, techniques, and/or adjunctive procedures; or
- Meridian therapy/acupressure/acupuncture (MTAA); or Insurance Consultant Certification.
Special Notes: (1) Missouri Disclaimer: Approval of this course is not acknowledgment or ruling by the Board that the methods taught in this course are recognized by the Board as the appropriate practice of chiropractic as defined in Section 331.010, RSMo.
MTAA - 12 hours biennially in the area of Meridian Therapy, Acupuncture and Acupressure. This counts toward the 48 hour requirement.
Animal Chiropractic: Allows animal chiropractic treatment. No specific CE requirements but CE approved by the State Veterinary Board is acceptable towards 24 hours of General CE relicensure requirement.
New Licensee Information: A chiropractic physician issued a license within one (1) year of graduation from an approved chiropractic college shall be exempt from the continuing education requirements until the end of the first bienni-al licensure cycle following initial license issuance
Dry Needling: Based on the Dry Needling Disclaimer released by the Missouri Board of Chiropractic on 6/27/24, "Chiropractic Physicians licensed by the Board, who offer the “dry needling” modality, must comply with licensing, safety, sanitation, and education requirements of Chapter 334 and 331 of the Missouri Revised Statutes and of 20 CSR Division 2070 Code of State Regulations as such relates to their licensed profession as a Missouri Chiropractic Physician. The Board recommends that Missouri Chiropractic Physicians who utilize “dry needling” be trained in the modality and in the essential safety and sterile-disposable needle requirements, which are essential for safe use of this modality. However, the “dry needling” modality, itself, is not subject to the statutes and regulations enforceable through this Board except to the extent addressed herein."
