Maryland Accepts ChiroCredit.com Online Courses
Maryland Acupuncture Continuing Education Requirements: 40 hours of approved continuing education biennially. Expiration dates are May 31 and November 30 in odd or even year depending on month/year of initial licensure.
Maryland Accepts 40 hours of Online Acupuncture Continuing Education Courses per biennial renewal cycle.
Special Requirements:
At least 25 hours in formally organized programs relevant to the practice of acupuncture.
Not more than 15 hours of formally organized training programs in Western science and medical practices, medical ethics, medical research, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which are relevant to the practice of acupuncture.
At least 3 hours in ethics or professional boundary training every 4 years.
Not more than 15 hours of training in management, language, teaching methodology.
Special Notes:
Maryland licensed Acupuncturists may meet their continuing education requirements by taking courses that are offered by a NCCAOM approved PDA provider.
