NEW REQUIREMENT:
Category III continuing education shall mean an internet or live continuing education activity that meets at least one of the following content requirements:
(1) Acute or chronic pain management - (see our topic Pain Management)
(2) the appropriate prescribing of opioids; or - (see our topic Opioid Management)
(3) the use of prescription drug monitoring programs.
