Georgia Accepts ChiroCredit.com Online Courses
Georgia Continuing Education Requirements: 20 hours per year (renewal cycle is 2 years ending on 12-31 in even years)
Georgia accepts 20 hours of Online Continuing Education and/or TeleSeminar Continuing Education Courses per 2 year renewal cycle. This means that in a two year period where you need 40 hours (20 per year), you can only take a maximum of 20 hours in that 2 year period with our Online/TeleSeminar courses.
The vast majority of our courses have been approved by the Georgia Board of Chiropractic. Courses for Georgia are facilitated by the University of Bridgeport, Health Sciences Postgraduate Education Department which includes the School of Chiropractic, a CCE accredited College. When logged in, as long as your licenses are entered on your account, each course is clearly identified as being approved or not approved.
Special Requirements:
15 hours Chiropractic Clinical Science - Examination Procedures/Diagnoses, Adjustive Technique, Radiographic Technique/Safety, Diagnostic Imaging Interpretation, Nutrition, Research Trends, Physiological Therapeutics, Philosophy (max three hours), Clinical Documentation which includes insurance billing/reporting/coding and procedures (maximum of 4 hours)
4 hours of ethics (see our topic: Ethics for Professionals) or risk management (see our topic: Risk Management)
1 hour of GA Jurisprudence (see our Topic: Georgia Jurisprudence Board Rules)
NOTE: 5 Hour Course Bundle Available for Ethics/Risk/Jurisprudence: On the course selection page, use the dropdown for 'Select Course Bundle' and select "Georgia 5 hr Risk, Ethics and Jurisprudence"
New Licensee Information: No continuing education is required in the first year of licensure.
Reporting Requirements: Licensee affirms CE completion - additional documentation required if audited
