The vast majority of our courses are automatically accepted as they are facilitated by the University of Bridgeport, Health Sciences Postgraduate Education Department which includes the School of Chiropractic, a CCE accredited College. Scroll down to view courses.
When logged in, as long as your licenses are entered on your account, each course is clearly identified as being approved or not approved.
Special Requirements: At least 4 of the required 30 hours per renewal period must be in recordkeeping and documentation (see any courses in our topics: Documentation, Documentation - Clinical Justification or Documentation and Coding).
Each licensed CO Chiropractor is required to maintain CPR certification as provided by the American Heart Association or substantially similar nationally or internationally recognized organization. All active licensees must maintain proof of current and valid CPR certification. The hours necessary to maintain this CPR certification may be used towards the CE hours required by this Rule. The lecture component may be taken on-line or attended at a live class. The skill test component must be in-person and at a live class.
Animal Chiropractic: Requires 20 additional CE hours in animal chiropractic per renewal cycle.
New Licensee Information: If a licensee has been licensed for a period of twelve (12) months or less before the first biannual license renewal period, the licensee is not required to submit CE for license renewal. If a licensee has been licensed for longer than twelve (12) months before the first biannual license renewal period, the licensee is required to submit fifteen (15) of the CE credit hours; recordkeeping and documentation CEs are not required to be part of this 15 hours.
