Texas Continuing Education Requirements:
Veterinarian: 17 hours every year - Texas Accepts All hours of Online Continuing Education Courses. Excess CE hours earned in one year may be carried over to the following year only. Beginning with renewals on or after September 1, 2020, 2 hours of continuing education related to opioid abuse and controlled substance diversion, inventory, and security is required every two years.
Courses are accepted as Texas accepts courses approved by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE Committee as well as courses approved by other Veterinary Licensing Boards. Please Scroll down to view courses currently approved.
