North Carolina Continuing Education Requirements:
Veterinarian: 20 hours every year - North Carolina Accepts 5 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses
Note: Due to the COVID pandemic, the NC Veterinary Medical Board will accept all hours via on-line courses through the end of 2021.
Special Requirements: Beginning in 2020, two (2) hours of CE on the abuse of controlled substances will be required per renewal cycle.
Courses are accepted as North Carolina accepts courses approved by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE Committee as well as courses approved by the North Carolina Board of Veterinary Medicine. Please Scroll down to view courses currently approved.
