Plain film radiographs including oblique projections of the cervical spine reveal mild end plate degenerative changes at C5-C6 and C6-C7. There is straightening of the cervical lordosis. There is evidence of osteopenia.

The cervical myelogram demonstrates the presence of multiple meningeal diverticula at the levels of C5–C6 and C6–C7 bilaterally and at C7–T1 on the left. The root sleeve cysts at the 2 lower levels on the left are larger and multi-lobular.
