13 yo male describes pain when walking
Melanie Osterhouse, DC, DACBR
The torus fracture is indicated by a bulging of the cortex on one side of a child’s long bone and indicates an incomplete fracture. This fracture is a little different from the other uniquely childhood incomplete fracture known as a greenstick fracture. The greenstick is different because the cortex is not intact on the one side rather than the buckled appearance of the torus fracture.
