The patient was placed in a walking boot that he had to wear for 6 weeks.  While the patient was dissatisfied with the limitations to his activities during the 6 weeks, once reevaluated after 6 weeks, the boy returned to normal activities and has had no complications.

What are the characteristic features of a torus fracture and how is it different from a greenstick fracture?
