Oregon Accepts 6 hours of Online Chiropractic Assistant Continuing Education Courses  

 

Oregon Chiropractic Assistant Initial Certification:

ChiroCredit.com offers the online course "Oregon Chiropractic Assistant Training Program" which is approved by the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners. This is a 12 hour program that includes an 8 hour Didactic Online Course and a 4 hour Practical Training Program for the direct contact time (performed with an Oregon Licensed Chiropractic Doctor).

 

2016 Mandatory CE for Chiropractic Assistants

Two hours Vitals, plus practical experience. ALL CAs must complete 2 hours in Vitals to include lecture and demonstration. In addition, a practical (not included in the two hours) session is required for each CA. The CA must complete 20 documented checks (a minimum of 10 different people must be tested) of each of the following: Blood pressure, Pulse, Respiration and Body temperature.  ChiroCredit.com offers "Vital Signs CA20" (in the topic:  CA Certification - Vital Signs).

The above CA continuing education requirement MUST be completed by Jul 31, 2016. The hours are DUE and reportable BY July 31, 2016.  NEW CAs will need to complete the two hours training by their second renewal date.
