Case Presentation: Page 6 of 6

This patient received spinal manipulations to release fixations at L4, L5 and L5, Sacrum. The sacral base was corrected for the anterior flexion distortion fixation. Ultrasound was used to decrease local pain in the gluteal muscle and left contracted multifidus. Russian Stimulation was used to treat the right multifidus atrophy to allow for muscle development and better support her spine. Interferential current was used at the lumbar and lumbosacral facets to decrease inflammation. Lumbar spinal flexion stretches were given to open the joint spaces and stretch the contracted multifidus on the left side.
