45 yo female patient with scoliosis presents with back and neck pain and right arm and hand numbness
Linda Simon, DC
Myofasciitis of the right levator scapula, cervical extensors and upper trapezius would not cause dorsal right arm and hand numbness from nerve compression. The right bicep was found to be fibrotic at the myotendinous junction with no inflammation or nerve symptoms produced from palpation. The right subscapularis was inflamed, contracted, tender and produced symptoms of numbness upon palpation.
